Today was my day off. It started in the middle of the night by taking a student to the airport. Then another student called me at 6am before he left so that I might sign his time sheets for his work study. I ended up sleeping most of the morning. I then planned to run errands and end up going swimming in the afternoon. As I was in the middle of my errands I stopped for gas. I had problems with my pump and the attendant told me that I should switch pumps..... when I tried my car, it was completely dead.... since we had no AAA here..... I called Peter, our maintenance supervisor who came to help me. First by pushing my car to another pump (with a few other helpful gentlemen at the station) so I could put gas in it and then jumping my car. I was ready to take the car to the shop but in the end Peter and I went out to buy a new battery and he put it in for me.
Unfortunately I never made it to the pool..... Althought the student DO leave in 2 days...... So I hope to get there this weekend. :o)
I then took Crystalene with me to finish my errands and we stopped and got Cheese Steaks for dinner (Yummy).... and rented some movies.
