Not a creature was stirring....
Not even a "boonie" dog..... Last night was the first night I really missed the students..... In the evening the campus was eerily quiet. There are only a handful of staff left living on campus with a couple of students who are doing maintenance work over break. Everyone was in their own little apartments and the campus was dark and dead silent. Even though the Farnsworths were home next door I have not felt that alone since I got here and I actually ended up feeling quite a bit homesick. Maybe that is a good thing since often I am too busy to even think about it.

It is now Christmas Eve for you - not yet here. As I read this last blog, I could feel your heartache. I miss you very much & I am sure that being in that environment must be especially difficult as Christmas arrives. Just know that as the Christ child comes, He is coming to make all things new! He, too, keeps us connected even through the miles and time away.
