This week on February 27th, my Dad celebrated his 80th birthday. Here he is as a boy with his mule.
Me and my Dad on a previous brithday.
Here is my dad as a teen....Isn't he cute? This blog will be musings about my journey and my adventures going to Guam to serve God as Dean of Women at Pacific Island Bible College.
The Student Council Organization hosted a "Fun Night for the students and invited the faculty and staff. There were songs, skits, games, and snacks. Here Molly does the actions to "Deepo".
In this skit, the guy had to choose between women with inner or outer beauty. This man (who is Keiny, the student council president) chose wisely. The two girls come out and sit next to each other and keep looking at each other. As the beautiful on the outside girl, Sandra, goes through her glamour routine, the beautiful on the inside girl, Lydia, copies her but never gets it quite right. She used a marker instead of lipstick, a machete to clean up her eyebrows, dish soap for a moisturizer and pinesol for perfume.... A very silly skit.
The "Von Trappe" Farnsworths sing a song in spanish.
Everyone watches in awe of the activities
which included a game where they blind folded the presidet of PIBC, Dave Owen, and the president of student counsel, Keiny, and had them find four empty tin cans and put them on the legs of the chair in their own end zone.
Over the past weekend one of the famous B-2 Stealth Bombers crashed in Guam at Andersen Airforce Base. This is the first B-2 that has crashed since they started flying them some time in the 80's. Both pilots survived although one is still in the hospital. Each one of these babies cost the government a cool $1.2 billion.
