As we are in the middle of finals week, we were shocked and saddened to hear of the death of one of our teachers who died suddenly this morning while she was scuba diving with some friends. Kathy Newell was a volunteer professor who taught a number of our education classes, was here for the last two years. This picture was taken last year during our hike to Mt. Lam Lam. Kathy was scheduled to return to her home in Arizona at the end of the month.
We will certainly miss Kathy. We were all blessed to have known her.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I will keep Kathy's family and the PIBC family in my prayers. That is such a sad, sad tragedy.
