Food For Thought
Moving On Down
As each day moves on the reality of my impending adventure becomes more and more real. Saying good bye becomes more and more indefinate when or even if I will see some people again, and I begin each day to feel the loss of most things familiar.
Yet I look forward to the changes with the anticipation that God is good; and He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Gratitude
That is the case right now for many in the Philadelphia area. My electric was out for 24 hours.... and fortunately somehow I did not suffocate in my attic apartment with nary a fan. However some people in the area have not had power restored and might not until the weekend.
Things that I am thankful for today.....
My family and friends
My electricity
My car
Clean running water
Soft toilet paper
diet coke
trashmen
prayer warriors
How about you?

Just spent the last week in Schooley's Mountain, NJ orienting to the work I will be doing in Guam with Liebenzell USA. During the week I was able to meet several other people who will also be working at Pacific Island Bible College with me. (Pictured at the Right.)
I am very excited about this great group of people. Although we just met, we bonded quickly and easily.
I am also very excited about being a part of the Liebenzell mission family. We heard of the work that other Liebenzell missionaries are doing around the world. It is exciting to see how the people who are part of Liebenzell care deeply for each other and pray for each other faithfully. Since my friend George Hege is stepping down from his position as Director of Global Missions, it is comforting to know that there are many other wonderful people at the mission who will be there to support me in any way they can.
One month from today I will be arriving in Guam. On one hand that is exciting. On the other hand there is much to do before I go. It feels a bit surreal at this point. Time is flying so quickly.
Thank you for those who are supporting me in any way. Pray that God would continue to bring in my support. Financial Support needs to be in or pledged at a later date before I leave.
